Positive: Caroline was fantastic, and so was the rest of her family. The rooms were adorable with great views of the lovely property. We stayed there based on a recommendation from our friend's sister, who stayed there last year. It did not disappoint. The full Irish breakfast was wonderful, as were the other options offered. The hospitality shown by Caroline and family was above and beyond what we expected. We got advice on where to go, how to get there, and places of interest along our way. As a bonus, the dogs, Pepsi, Millie, and Harry gave the place a homey feel. I would highly recommend the Thatched Cottage.
Negative: We liked everything except the roads! That certainly is out of their control.
Summary: Wonderful place to stay! Hopspitality can't be beat! Loved it!!

Positive: Good location, in the countryside right outside Galway. We rented a room with private bathroom for the night. The room is warm and generally comfortable. The owner and host of the cottage, who lives there, is a kind lady. She prepared an excellent breakfast in the kitchen and provided helpful information about the surroundings.
Negative: I'm not a dog person, so I wouldn't recommend to people who, like me, don't feel at ease having dogs around inside the house. Btw my wife and daughter love dogs instead, so they would def add that to the pros!

Negative: There's not a lot to dislike about this spot.. Only minor problem was the room was on the coolish side of things.. Could of did with the heating on..
